Our financial firm in Laguna Hills is seeking a strong marketing coordinator and appointment setter whose job is to grow a sales pipeline by creating a comprehensive marketing strategy and setting appointments for a top national financial advisor. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate superb marketing, creative, and analytical skills while planning & executing campaigns to drive engagement, quality leads, and qualified opportunities. A sharp phone presence with excellent listening skills and the ability to build a rapport with our prospects and clients is a must. We're looking for a go-getter that is great at asking in-depth questions and getting our prospects engaged!

Minimum Requirements:

• The desire to work long-term in the financial industry
• 2+ years of experience in marketing a company/product to the public
• Industry knowledge/experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with MS Office and the ability to learn new software quickly

This position requires that you possess the following skills:
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to motivate prospects to set appointments
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Consistent follow-through


You will need to be able to consistently fill the Advisors schedule with qualified appointments and implement various pre-determined marketing strategies. Other daily, weekly, and/or monthly tasks may include:

• Calling and scheduling with prospects
• Consistent follow-up with prospects and clients
• Marketing assistance with seminars, book projects/promotions & social media
• Tracking of client referrals
• Input notes to database/CRM of phone calls made and appointments set
• Seminar management and event coordination to include being in attendance
• Track effectiveness of marketing strategies
• Review marketing focus with team during staff meetings
• Create monthly accountability report illustrating number of contacts made, appointments set and appointments kept
